This pretty Verbascum is the result of painstaking pollination work done by Clair Wilson and Vic Johnston, holders of the National Collection® of Verbascum. They approached Blooms New Plant Marketing for assistance in the selection work and Verbascum ‘Twilight' is the first of their plants to be put into commercial production.

• Height 120cm (47 inches)
• Width 60cm (24 inches)
• Hardy perennial
• Tall spikes of glowing dusky lilac to purplish pink flowers, which fade to cream at the edges, and with brightly coloured filaments
• Flowers June to August
• Forms clumps of mid-green, sometimes evergreen, leaves
• Site in full sun, good in alkaline conditions or poor soil
• Ideal in gravel gardens, good border plant and in wild gardens
