Masses of mid pink darkly veined flowers with a pronounced raspberry-red eye and semi-evergreen upright foliage make Geranium 'Rothbury Gem' a pretty addition to any garden. Selected by Cyril Foster who breeds Geraniums as a hobby in his garden at Rothbury, Northumberland. Blooms New Plant Marketing centre at Bressingham, Norfolk have successfully trialed this lovely new Geranium
Geranium 'Rothbury Gem' is a dwarf alpine perennial ideal for sunny situations and great for the front of the border, in alpine beds, rock gardens and for containers. The upright facing flowers are produced from early to late summer and it is a vigorous plant preferring gravely free-draining soil, especially if your garden is prone to winter wet. Introduced exclusively by Blooms New Plant Marketing, through their UK Licensee, R A Meredith (Blooms Wholesale).
