In 1996, Julie and David Evans discovered a chance seedling from Verbascum ‘Pink Domino' at their nursery near Bath , Avon and after selecting and producing a small number of plants, contacted Blooms New Plant Marketing to continue with trialling and development for commercial production. Verbascum ‘Pandora' has proved to be a reliable and hardy perennial with dusky pinkish purple flowers which differentiate it from the deep rose pink of Verbascum ‘Pink Domino'.
