Verbascum ‘Eleanor's Blush ’

This stunning plant was discovered in 1999 as a seedling growing in the garden of Mr Catchpole from Colchester. Blooms New Plant Marketing at Bressingham carried out trials and further development for commercial production of this deep-pink flowering Verbascum, the orange hue and lighter centre distinguishing it from Verbascum ‘Pink Domino'.

  • Spikes of glowing dusky burnt pinkish orange flowers with lighter centres
  • Flowers June to August
  • Forms clumps of large grey-green, sometimes evergreen, leaves
  • Site in full sun, good in alkaline conditions or poor soil
  • Ideal in gravel gardens, good border plant and in wild gardens
