Launched at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2002, this stunning new Coreopsis from America has large bi-coloured flowers of white, flushed soft pink with dark raspberry coloured centres held above narrow linear leaves. Discovered in California, USA, Coreopsis rosea Sweet Dreams has been extensively trialed by Blooms of Bressingham New Plant Discovery Centre at Bressingham, Norfolk and in the USA by Blooms of Bressingham North America where it is has already been launched.
Coreopsis rosea Sweet Dreams forms a bushy mound from a central crown and prefers a well drained situation in full sun, tolerating dry conditions when established. It flowers continuously from June to September when regularly dead-headed and is fully hardy in well-drained soil. Ideal to plant in groups of three or more to form a broad mass of colour and is attractive to bees and butterflies. Height 45 cm (18 inch). Width 60cm (24 inch)
